Calculator inputs and printed results

Calculator measurements, material choices, entered prices and calculated results are processed in your browser. GravelScope does not receive or store these calculator entries or results. Printing uses your browser’s print function; a printout is not sent to GravelScope.

This does not mean that a visit is anonymous: the separate analytics, hosting and security services described below process information about website use. If you choose to email a result to us, we receive what you include in that email.

Email and information you provide

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use them to answer questions, investigate errors and handle privacy requests. Our email address uses Google’s Gmail service.

We do not offer contact forms or collect ZIP codes through our calculators. Please avoid emailing passwords, payment details, identity documents or unnecessary personal information.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to improve pages and tools. It can process information such as page visits, interactions, browser and device details, approximate location and online identifiers. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies; information handled depends on the service’s settings and applicable controls.

We do not send calculator inputs or results to Google Analytics. Learn more through Google’s information about partner sites and Google’s Privacy Policy. The Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on offers a provider-specific browser control.

Hosting and security

Hostinger hosts the website, and Cloudflare provides website delivery and security services. These services can process technical request data, including IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, timestamps and security-related logs, to deliver pages, protect the site and investigate faults.

Purposes and disclosures

We use information to operate and protect the website, measure use, improve content, respond to messages and address privacy requests. Information is handled by the service providers described above for those purposes. We may disclose information when applicable law compels disclosure or when necessary to protect legal rights and prevent misuse, subject to applicable law.

External websites have their own privacy practices. Following a link does not send a calculator record to the destination unless you independently provide it.

Advertising and affiliate links

GravelScope does not currently display advertisements or use affiliate links. Advertising is planned for a future stage. Before advertising services are introduced, we will update the relevant disclosures and privacy information to reflect the services actually used.

Retention and security

We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to respond, resolve an issue, retain relevant records or meet applicable legal obligations. Retention of analytics data and technical logs depends on provider settings, service policies and operational or security needs. Calculator entries and results are not retained by GravelScope.

We use reasonable safeguards for information we handle. No internet transmission, email service or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Your privacy choices

Depending on the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain personal information, object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email [email protected] to make a request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify and respond to it; applicable exceptions and response periods can vary.

Our Privacy Choices page explains email and browser controls. Where applicable law calls for consent to optional tracking, that consent must be obtained before the tracking takes place.

International access and children

GravelScope focuses on US project planning. Visitors and service providers may be located elsewhere, and information may be processed in countries where those providers operate.

The site is intended for general project planning and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information so we can investigate and address it.
